This past week was spring break for the kids so we headed up the mountain to go camping. We stayed for free on the church camp land fully intending to pitch our tent and rough it. Instead, we totally cheated and sleapt on the floor of the building and used their kitchen and bathrooms.
Since there were no other campers around the kids could roam free a bit and they did. The dog did a fair amount of roaming free as well. These are the forts the girls built with very minimal help.
Dad wants to be sure to add that he and the kids did build a campfire, heard turkeys and saw a herd of elk.
Mom wants to add that she'll learn how to orient the pictures correctly soon. (Obviously there are some technical issues and knowledge issues with the camera as you can see by the wrong dates.) Thank you for your patience and all the immediate positive feedback. :)
